Hi, I'm visiting Katakolon in August as part of a cruise with my wife. We did the Olympia thing a few years ago so are looking for an alternative. These museums sound interesting. Are they in walking distance of the port?

Yes. There are 2 museums - Ancient Greek Musical Instruments 5 mins walk and the Ancient Greek Technology around 10 mins walk. We only visited the latter. I wouldn't like to do the 2 …
