I agree with the others. Franklin to Emlenton. However, my favorite area within the trail system is along Sandy Creek. In Cranberry at the corner where Sheetz is head south …
I agree with the others. Franklin to Emlenton. However, my favorite area within the trail system is along Sandy Creek. In Cranberry at the corner where Sheetz is head south toward Rockland, about 2 or 3 miles on the right is the parking area. When you are facing the trail if you go left there is a tunnel a little over a mile. Either direction there are dirt trails leading to the creek. Breath taking views no matter which direction you go, bridges high above the creek. Good swimming holes either direction. When the water is high it is canoeable.
Hello, My parents are wanting to bike this trail. We live about 5 hours away and are unfamiliar with it. I have read about the tunnels. DO you have a any recommendation on what lumen strength would be enough for lighting the tunnels? thanks
