With the winter storm affecting the Houston area, power is a concern that many residents have after the winter storm that affected the area in 2021.

CenterPoint Energy announced that more than 99.9 percent of its Greater Houston area customers are receiving normal electric service even as Winter Storm Enzo continues to bring significant precipitation and sub-freezing temperatures to the region.

After several CenterPoint customers voiced concerns, the company said it was aware of some issues with its power outage reporting system.
