WASHINGTON, D.C. (WJW) — The late Charlie Kirk would have turned 32 Tuesday. The conservative activist was born on October 14, 1993. In honor of his birthday, President Trump posthumously awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom at the White House.

President Trump presented the medal to Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika, on what would have been his 32nd birthday.

Critics say the Trump Administration’s screening of social media activity infringes on free speech, even for immigrants.
