After going 3-13-1 in Goff's first year and starting the second 1-6, the Lions hit their stride and haven't looked back. The result, now a year-and-a half later, is a team that leads the NFC with a 10-1 record.

While the Lions have seemingly exploded onto the NFL scene in dominating fashion, the reality is that momentum has been building in Detroit for years.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams was fined for his Week 11 touchdown celebration, but the league went on to use a picture of the celebration in a thumbnail for highlights of the game. Head coach Dan Campbell appeared to call the league out for its hypocrisy on Tuesday.
