Both players from the Browns and Steelers received fines on Saturday from the Week 12 game in Cleveland. None were George Pickens nor Greg Newsome II.

Steelers wide receiver George Pickens said repeatedly during his media session Friday he was just there so he wouldn’t get fined when the subject of his postgame fight with Browns cornerback Greg Newsome II came up.

Notably absent among the players penalized is Pickens. Pickens and Greg Newsome II had a brawl during the game’s final play. The brawl ended well after the play did, as both players tried throwing the other into the wall. Maybe the NFL thought losing a game in such a manner was penalty enough.
