Erik Menendez remains in fair condition Tuesday after he was transported from prison to a medical facility about a month before a scheduled parole hearing, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

A Los Angeles jury rejected claims that Geragos engaged in fraud but found that he helped Michael Avenatti try and extort Nike.

The coach, Gary Franklin, had contended that Geragos and the now-disgraced and disbarred lawyer Michael Avenatti had bungled a potential $1.5-million settlement from Nike by pushing for a lucrative revenue stream for themselves.

A jury found he “had actual knowledge that Avenatti was committing wrongdoing” and “provided knowlingly substantial assistance or encouragement to Avenatti in committing wrongdoing.”
