Meta has introduced new safety features on Instagram for teens and children, including real-time message alerts, combined block and report tools, stronger content filters, and additional protections for accounts featuring kids,

The new features add on to its existing "teen accounts" and make it easier to block users, while adult-run accounts of children get further restrictions.
