March is still a few days away, but Michigan State got the madness started early Wednesday night with a half-court heave to beat No. 16 Maryland as time expired in regulation. The shot by Spartans junior Tre Holloman was the final haymaker in what was a top-25 slugfest.

Michigan State and Maryland came down to the wire, but the Spartans were lifted on the wings of a Tre Holloman prayer to defeat the Terrapins.
