CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The Atlantic Coast Conference has fined and publicly reprimanded both N.C. State and UNC for the postgame scuffle that broke out Saturday night after the Wolfpack's 35-30 win over the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill.

An all-out melee broke out after the Wolfpack’s 35-30 win over the Tar Heels on Saturday. The flag-planting that started an ugly scene in Columbus was repeated in Chapel Hill and North Carolina players didn’t appreciate it any more than the Buckeyes.

ACC officials announced Monday that both schools also received a “public reprimand” for the incident, which occurred after the Wolfpack’s 35-30 victory over the Tar Heels.
