Nvidia's midrange GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card produces only modest performance gains over its predecessor while consuming more power, just as AMD steps it up with a potent Radeon alternative.

Nvidia has apparently delayed its RTX 5070 FE graphics card, with only other manufacturers' versions of the gaming GPU available at launch.

Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition cards won’t launch alongside other 5070s. Reviews of the new $549 graphics card just dropped today, but in an email to The Verge, Nvidia GeForce global PR director Ben Berraondo says the RTX 5070 Founders Edition will be available “later in March.”
