Payton Pritchard and Derrick White are now etched in Boston Celtics history forever. The unlikely duo exploded for the shorthanded Celtics in Wednesday night's win over the Trail Blazers, becoming the first Celtics teammates to each score at least 40 points in the same game.

Boston Celtics guards Derrick White and Payton Pritchard made stunning history in the Celtics' 128–118 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday. During a career night for both players, Pritchard came off the bench and scored 43 points and drilled 10 three-pointers as White recorded 41 points with nine three-pointers.

Pritchard and White also became the first teammates in NBA history to each hit at least nine 3-pointers on the same night.
