DeSantis administration’s removal of memorial crosswalk outside Pulse nightclub is ‘cruel’ and ‘callous,’ Orlando mayor says

The Florida Transportation Department on Sunday once again painted over a rainbow crosswalk in Orlando that was part of the Pulse Memorial after protesters filled it in with multicolored chalk.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and others reacted to the removal of the rainbow crosswalk outside the Pulse nightclub, the site of a massacre in 2016.
