IndieWire reports that the ASAP Mob member will star in Spike Lee ’s new film Highest 2 Lowest, a reimagining of Akira Kurosawa’s 1963 thriller, High and Low. Rumors of Rocky’s involvement surfaced after set photos showed him playing the character Yung Felon.

The legendary director discussed his career and industry insights at the Red Sea Film Fest in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where he is serving as the president of the main competition jury.

"The main role... is A$AP Rocky," he said during an interview at the 2024 Red Sea International Film Festival.
