As part of the company’s various promotions and announcements tied to “MAR10 Day,” Nintendo is releasing a free Super Mario Bros. theme for its Alarmo clock today featuring scenes and sounds from the NES classic.

Day, affectionately known as Mario Day, has arrived and the yearly celebration of all things Nintendo (and the company's iconic plumber) has brought sales on Switch games and even the console itself.

In February 1990, Nintendo released the third installment of “Super Mario Bros.” and gamers across the United States scrambled for a copy. Kentucky teen Matt Baker found a copy of the game and said it was “worth the wait." Mario is so beloved that he gets his own holiday. Celebrate the high-jumping and costume-changing character on March 10.

Nintendo has added free scenes from the original NES Super Mario Bros. to its alarm clock, the Alarmo.

Super Mario Bros 3 is now available as part of the Nintendo Music soundtrack library, with 42 tracks from the NES classic.

For starters, Nintendo is offering Switch game deals from $4. This includes some of Mario's greatest hits like Super Mario Bros Wonder on sale for $41. Or, if you're more of a Zelda fan, you can score The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom on sale for $44 at Woot.
