TikTok on Monday asked a federal appeals court to bar the Biden administration from enforcing a law that could lead to a ban on the popular platform until the Supreme Court reviews the case.

TikTok asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit to impose an injunction that would pause its ruling on Friday, which upheld the law requiring TikTok to divest from Chinese parent company ByteDance or else be banned from U.S. app stores.

TikTok and parent company ByteDance filed an injunction Monday, asking the Supreme Court to review legislation that could ban the app in the states.
