Two tropical cyclones are swirling across the ocean southeast of Hawaiʻi, but forecasters don't expect them to cause any issues for the islands. Hurricane Iona formed Monday southeast of Honolulu. Tropical Storm Keli formed not long after.

Keli was a tropical storm in the North Pacific Ocean Monday afternoon Eastern time, the National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory. Keli was forecast to track well south of Hawaii and did not pose a threat to land.
