In Uttarakhand's avalanche incident, all 54 missing persons have been found, including the last body recovered on Sunday, marking the end of the rescue operation.

There were 54 workers at the project site when the avalanche buried the containers that the workers were using as living quarters.

On Saturday, the Indian Army, NDRF and SDRF forces saved around 50 workers. However, of these 50, at least four have succumbed to their injuries.

The three-day-long high-risk rescue operation at Mana, Chamoli, led by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) in coordination with the Indian Army and NDRF, ends today.

The body of the eighth worker missing in the Mana (Chamoli) avalanche incident was recovered by the Army on Sunday afternoon during the ongoing search operation, officials said. Earlier in the day, three more bodies were found as rescue teams continued searching for the last missing worker.
