Police in Trinidad and Tobago said they have received reports that two of the country's citizens were killed in a U.S. strike on an alleged drug boat.
President Donald Trump said U.S. military strikes on five Venezuelan boats have saved more than 100,000 lives because the maneuvers thwarted drug smuggling.
The Trump admin has in recent weeks launched other strikes on boats allegedly connected to Venezuelan drug cartels, but until Thursday, there were no survivors.
