After stewarding the White Sox in the wake of Pedro Grifol's firing, Grady Sizemore is back on the staff of new manager Will Venable.

The White Sox are expected to officially announce their 2025 coaching staff within the next week, but Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports that the club will be retaining most of its incumbent coaches.

Justin Jirschele, brought up from Triple-A Charlotte on Aug. 8 to coach third base for Sizemore, will return at that post, and first base coach Jason Bourgeois, assistant pitching coach Matt Wise and catchers coach Drew Butera are also expected back, sources told the Sun-Times.

Chicago White Sox manager Will Venable will have his hands full, as he looks to bring the club back to the postseason.
