Madness continues Friday with the women’s Final Four. South Carolina faces Texas at 7 p.m. and UCLA meets Connecticut around 9:30 p.m.
Golden, who holds a doctoral degree in musical arts from MSU, is also assistant professor of music and assistant director of bands at MSU, and serves as associate director of MSU's Spartan Marching Band. Before that, she was at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and spent 18 years as a band director at public schools in North Carolina.
