WWE is reportedly very high on a SmackDown Superstar. According to a new report from Bodyslam.net, WWE officials were happy with Lash Legend‘s performance in the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series last month.

Tom Brady, Eli Manning and Peyton Manning were among those who honored John Cena and wished him well in advance of the WWE Superstar's last match on Saturday.

Not that WWE fans will never see Cena again; he has signed a five-year deal to be an ambassador for the company. Having won The Last Time Is Now tournament, it's former world heavyweight champion Gunther who will face Cena in his final fight.

Bodyslam reports that WWE is seeking some huge upgrades to the "Friday Night SmackDown" roster in 2026. The report also mentioned that WWE knows the brand's creative has left a lot to be desired. The hope is that efforts to upgrade "WWE SmackDown" will improve the show when it switches back to a three-hour runtime.

John Cena has his final opponent. After a yearlong retirement tour and a 16-man tournament to decide who he would stand across from in his finale, it is complete. Gunther will be the man who gets the chance to retire one of the legends of the industry at Saturday Night's Main Event on Dec. 13.

Tomorrow, the wrestling world bids adieu to John Cena, but despite the weight atmosphere this weekend, "WWE SmackDown" stopped into the Mohegan Sun in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
