Denmark and its allies are planning to send military troops to Greenland in light of President Donald Trump’s repeated threats to annex the territory, according to recent reports.

On Wednesday, I met with Peter Boysen, the chief of the Danish army, and asked him how his country plans to strengthen Greenland’s defenses.

The reporter pointed out Danish foreign minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen visited the White House earlier on Wednesday and said his country had a “fundamental disagreement” with the U.S. over Greenland.
