After a successful homestand, the Montreal Canadiens are looking to bring some momentum on the road starting with a clash against the struggling Calgary Flames on Wednesday to open a four-game trip.

MONTREAL -- Jakub Dobes made 30 saves, and the Montreal Canadiens held on for a 4-2 win against the Buffalo Sabres at Bell Centre on Monday. Juraj Slafkovsky, Lane Hutson, Jake Evans and Oliver Kapanen scored and Alex Newhook and Nick Suzuki each had two assists for Montreal (5-2-0), which has won five of its past six games.

The puck drops at Bell Centre in Montreal at 4 p.m. The game will be broadcast on KONG with pregame coverage starting at 3:30 p.m. KONG is available for streaming through DirecTV Stream and Fubo and via antenna, cable, and satellite. The game will also be broadcast on the Kraken Hockey Network.

Last season, the Rangers were 2-0-1 against the Canadiens, including a 7-2 road win on Oct. 24, 2024 and a 5-4 overtime loss at Bell Centre on Jan. 25. The Rangers have points in seven straight games against the Canadiens (5-0-2) since 2023-24.
