The meaningful memorial option of scattering a loved one’s ashes at sea has become quite popular on Carnival cruises.

Carnival Cruise Line has noted the guest capacity limits for onboard ashes scattering ceremonies to ensure no one is disappointed or angry.

Carnival Celebration “responded to a small vessel in distress and successfully completed a rescue at sea” on Feb. 16, the cruise line said.
