An outbreak of a feline virus has affected intake at the facility – but they’re not euthanizing cats unless needed.

The Francis of Assisi Society for Animals held “Catsgiving 2025” on Sunday at Harvest Brewing Company on South Street.

The shelter encourages community members to visit its facility and consider giving a cat or kitten their forever home.
