For Pride of Detroit, we are tasked with gauging Detroit Lions fans’ confidence in the team heading into each game. But this week, with the Lions on the bye, we’ve added a second question to the mix:

Detroit’s defense is riding hot after its patchwork secondary and ferocious pass rush put the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a blender on Monday night. And the offense, despite some inconsistencies along the way, remains one of the league’s most explosive and star-studded units.

Jahmyr Gibbs had four plays of 24 or more yards Monday night and finished with a career-high 218 yards from scrimmage and 2 TDs for the Detroit Lions.

The MVP candidate showed that frustration on the field as the Lions beat the Buccaneers 24-9 on Monday, Oct. 20. And though it wasn't exactly directed at the Lions defense, Mayfield's frustration was emblematic of how much the Lions flummoxed him at all levels.

The Detroit Lions finalized their gameday roster for the Week 7 visit by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with some moves. Most notable amongst the moves is the activation of defensive tackle Alim McNeill from the PUP list.
