Formula 1 is making its second annual stop in the United States for the 2025 U.S. Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. COTA hosted its inaugural F1 race in 2012, just a month after the circuit's grand opening. Austin replaced Indianapolis as the host of the USGP after the series' five-year break from racing on American soil.

Formula One announced a long-term extension through 2034 at Circuit of the Americas. The most recent contract was to expire after 2026.

This Sunday, the United States Grand Prix race will take place, which will be the 19th round of the Formula 1 World Championship. In the final stretch of the championship, McLaren's Lando Norris from Britain and Oscar Piastri from Australia, the season leader, will battle with Dutchman Max Verstappen (Red Bull) for the crown.
