A beloved feature is back on the Android lock screen, letting you see info at a glance without unlocking your phone.

After debuting on Pixel Tablet last year, Google confirmed this week that both Android tablets and phones would gain lock screen widget support with Android 16’s QPR1 release.

Android 16 will get lock screen widgets in its first quarterly update expected in September this year.
