Six weeks into the offseason, the Houston Astros have been among the least active teams in baseball. They've yet to sign a major-league free agent and the only 40-man roster player they've acquired in a trade is extra outfielder Taylor Trammell.

General manager Dana Brown lit a spark at the winter meetings Monday when he declared the Houston Astros would listen to trade inquiries about “anybody,” including star right fielder Kyle Tucker. Tucker figured to attract interest.

For any package involving Tucker, the Astros are seeking Yankees starter and AL Rookie of the Year Luis Gil, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post. In talks with the Cubs, the Astros are interested in outfielder Seiya Suzuki and corner infielder Isaac Paredes, according to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic.
