Game Recap: Suns fall to questionable calls late, 116-114
Then a furious 12-0 run got the Suns to within two with under a minute remaining. They just couldn’t get it done in the end due to some questionable reviews and calls that seemed to go LA’s way every single time. LeBron shoved a ref, hand checked Brooks in the ribs, and got away with what should’ve been a four-point play on Brooks’ three.
The Suns stormed back with a 17-2 run from the 3:08 mark to the 0:12 mark of the 4Q to take a 114-113 lead, however the Lakers reclaimed the lead to win the game 116-114. The Lakers move to 18-7 as the Suns fall to 14-12.
LeBron James kicked off the scoring and then found Deandre Ayton for a midrange shot to take an early lead. De’Aaron Fox responded with five straight points for the Spurs, although Luka Doncic then matched him with a layup and three-point play.
Luka Dončić got off to a strong start to the contest, unsurprising considering the season he’s having and his history playing against the Suns. In the first quarter, he had 20 points. Devin Booker, conversely, was the Suns’ offensive engine in the first. He scored 11 points in the first quarter. Looks like he was getting out of his slump.

South Bay Lakers recap: Lakers end losing skid thanks to Kobe Bufkin
The South Bay Lakers looked to rectify a three-game losing streak in Oregon when they took on the Rip City Remix on Sunday. They definitely got back on track, especially on the offensive end of the floor.
The Toronto Raptors hosted the Los Angeles Lakers with one clear goal: end their five-game skid against the Purple & Gold. Their last win over L.A.
The Los Angeles Lakers went on a 24-0 run and LeBron James made late free throws to come back and beat the Phoenix Suns on the road.
On the Lakers' side, while Anthony Davis managed to score 24 points, his efforts were overshadowed by the Celtics' relentless defense. The Lakers will need to reassess their strategy moving forward, especially regarding their bench depth and defensive consistency.
