The FAA has issued an emergency directive to ground the type of plane involved in the UPS cargo crash in Louisville, Kentucky, last week that killed at least 14 people. MD-11 planes will be out of commission while undergoing inspections.
A small self-propelled plane reportedly crashed in a field on private property off Cowpath Road in Franconia Township Wednesday evening. At 5:25 p.m., Montgomery County emergency dispatch reported the crash in the field at 761 Cowpath Road, near Yoder's Farm Market, near Green Hill Road.
