Arkansas basketball's two freshmen executed down the stretch, and that made all the difference as the Hogs downed Louisville for a marquee win.

Louisville head coach Pat Kelsey was agitated with the Cardinals after their Wednesday night loss to Arkansas.

Trevon Brazile scored 21 points to lead five Arkansas players in double figures as the 25th-ranked Razorbacks built a big lead and held off No. 6 Louisville 89-80.

The Cardinals were "discombobulated" on the offensive end against the Razorbacks, and didn't have a physical edge on the defensive side.

Prior to Wednesday, the last game between the Razorbacks and the Cardinals was played at the 2022 Maui Invitational, an 80-54 victory by Arkansas over a Louisville team coached by Kenny Payne. Payne is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Razorbacks.

The two-day inter-conference series between the ACC and SEC provided some fireworks, including Isaiah Evans hitting a go-ahead 3-pointer to lead No. 4 Duke to a 67-66 win over 14th-ranked, defending national champion Florida inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.
