UFC Fight Night 262 results: Reinier de Ridder quits on stool after Brendan Allen domination
The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to action this weekend with UFC Fight Night 262 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on Saturday, October 18. In the main event, Brendan Allen re-emerged as a legit middleweight contender by dominating former two-division ONE champion Reinier de Ridder.
UFC Vancouver, like UFC Fight Night 261 in Rio de Janeiro, had nine stoppages on the card. What’s crazier is, six of the finishes in Canada came in the third round or later.
In the main event, former former two-division ONE Championship titleholder Reinier de Ridder (21-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) takes on Brendan Allen (25-7 MMA, 13-4 UFC) at middleweight. Both headliners weighed in at 186 pounds to make the fight official.
Brendan Allen was once left gushing blood by fellow UFC Vancouver star before an incredible comeback
Before Allen faces De Ridder in the main event, UFC Vancouver will be co-headlined by the always entertaining Kevin Holland and home favorite Mike Malott.
