Dragon Age The Veilguard saw a tasty discount during last month's sale extravaganza, where the latest installment in the series went down to around the £60 mark. For a game that only just released this October, any debut discount was a great sight to behold, but now it's dropped again to just £35.99 at Amazon for a limited time.

BioWare art lead Matt Rhodes just keeps coming with the development revelations about the Dragon Age series. As reported by Eurogamer, Rhodes shared some pieces of concept art for Dragon Age: Inquisition's Trespasser DLC that show a different, even darker ending for the status quo-upending expansion.

The Veilguard has a robust cast of companions with whom you build relationships (and possibly romance) throughout the game. But The Veilguard also focuses a lot on the relationships between the companions — in a way that deliberately sets the game up for potential devastation and a much more intense decision for the player than in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

I am a noted defender of Mass Effect 3’s ending. I think its final choice is a meaningful reminder that war is not won without sacrifice, and I love how the original, unedited version made no attempts to reassure you that you made the right decision.
