Norris finished the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in third behind race winner Max Verstappen and his McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri, which was enough to take the title. The McLaren driver became the 11th British driver to claim an F1 title and the 35th driver in the history of the championship to do so.

The McLaren driver finished third place Sunday, enough to clinch his first F1 title. An emotional Norris celebrated with his team and family, saying it "feels amazing."

Max Verstappen won the F1 series finale in Abu Dhabi, but Britain's Lando Norris secured the 2025 series title by finishing in third place.

Norris – who beat Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri to claim the F1 title at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – celebrated his victory with Corceiro.
