Facebook and Instagram’s parent company Meta is moving its key content policy team to Texas, according to an announcement that focused on the social media giant moving to community notes and away from third-party fact-checking.

The tech giant’s decision to end the program comes as CEO Mark Zuckerberg seeks to mend ties with the incoming Trump administration.
