President Donald Trump’s trip to Qatar is off to a flying start. Qatar didn’t bother waiting for Trump to land before setting out to impress him with a fighter jet escort Wednesday.

Qatar Airways is set to announce an agreement to purchase 150 aircraft from Boeing while US President Trump is in Doha as part of his Middle East tour.

The show of respect appeared to one-up the emirate’s neighboring frenemy Saudi Arabia, which provided a six fighter-jet escort Tuesday morning.
