For Warriors, even Stephen Curry hasn’t been enough
Stephen Curry keeps delivering. The Warriors keep losing. Curry has scored 87 points in his last two games since returning from a quad injury, including a 48-point night with 12 three-pointers Sunday in Portland.

In the Warriors’ previous game on Dec. 12, Curry took over Jordan’s record for the most 35-point games after turning 30 years old, but it was not enough to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, who won 127-120. Curry scored 39 points and six 3-pointers during the game.
The Warriors are now 5-9 in what the NBA defines as “clutch” games — when the score is within five points in the final five minutes.
