A United Airlines flight in Houston had to be evacuated Sunday morning before takeoff after flames started coming from one of the plane’s engines, the latest in a string of aviation incidents this past week.

A United Airlines flight from Houston to New York was evacuated after an engine issue was reported before takeoff, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The Houston Fire Department's Airport Rescue Firefighters were called to George Bush Intercontinental Airport Sunday morning after a departing United Airlines flight called off its takeoff due to an engine issue,
