Police have said they believe they are 'closing in' on Travis Decker, the father accused of killing his three young daughters, amid the ongoing manhunt.

Authorities say they believe they spotted Travis Decker, an ex-soldier wanted in the deaths of his three daughters, in the remote backcountry of Washington state.

Police tracked a subject believed to be Travis Decker, 39, after a weeklong manhunt. Decker is accused of killing his three daughters — Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8 and Olivia, 5 — whose bodies were found at a Washington campsite on June 2.

Decker’s three daughters were reported missing by their mother on the night of May 30 after they failed to return home from a scheduled visit with Decker. On Monday, a Chelan County deputy discovered the bodies of the girls, which were about 75 to 100 yards past their father’s unoccupied truck near the campground.
