YouTube announced a number of new experimental features for Premium subscribers. You can now listen to music videos in higher quality and watch Shorts with picture-in-picture.

After announcing some new experimental features for YouTube Premium subscribers earlier this month — and that multiple experiments can be tested at once — the company has added one it promised was on the way: the ability to watch videos at 4x speed,

YouTube Premium has added a new capability to let subscribers watch videos at four times the normal speed. The improved playback speed would let users quickly skim through videos, making it easier to skip introductions, sponsored segments, or review content quickly.

YouTube says it is rolling out a new offer in the US which lets users save more when signing up for a Google One Premium or higher subscription. With this offer, they will be able to access ad-free YouTube, 2 TB of cloud storage with Google One, and other Google One member benefits at a lower price.
