For quite a few years now, Dell has provided its own "Dell Mobile Connect" app that can mirror Android phones on the desktop or access a few phone functions without having to pick up the phone.

Dell released its software last month that beat Microsoft to the punch bringing similar functionality for iPhone users, and included Android support.

A new app by LG called Virtoo will reportedly be quite similar to the Your Phone and Dell Mobile Connect apps by its competitors.

Paired with an Android phone, Dell Mobile Connect could easily transfer files between phone and PC. More than that, it could actually mirror apps so you're not limited to just the usual operations.
