Anthony Geary, who played one half of legendary soap opera couple Luke and Laura on ABC's "General Hospital" for 37 years, has died, according to a report from TV Insider.

Anthony Geary, the actor best known for portraying Luke Spencer on the popular soap opera “General Hospital,” died in Amsterdam on Sunday.

His big break was when he was cast in 1978 as what Variety called “the street-savvy hustler Luke Spencer” on “General Hospital.”
