A Los Angeles high school student who has spent the last several months at an immigration detention center has been released ahead of the holidays.

Over 10,000 illegal immigrants, including murderers, kidnappers and sexual predators, have been arrested in Los Angeles since June despite pushback from sanctuary leaders and rioters.

Many immigrant families are in lockdown or not working due to ICE enforcement, causing economic pressure that mirrors the pandemic.

More than a dozen U.S. citizens and one legal resident in California say in court filings they've been unlawfully arrested or detained by ICE.
