The Primary RGB Tandem structure applied to the fourth-generation OLED TV panel organizes the light source into four stacks by adding two layers of blue elements and independent layers of red and green elements. It improves maximum brightness by increasing the amount of light produced by each layer compared to the previous structure.

The specs for LG’s fourth-generation OLED panel are impressive, with a peak brightness of 4,000 nits – 33% brighter than the third-generation 'MLA' panel used in the LG G4 OLED and other TVs. LG Display is also claiming 2,100 nits color brightness, which is a 40% improvement.

CES 2025 saw a showcase of some extremely bright TVs with excellent panels. These are the most premium ones among them.
