The Seattle Seahawks are sending two-time Pro Bowler D.K. Metcalf to Pittsburgh for at least a second-round pick, sources with knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press on Sunday night. The sources spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the deal was not official.
The Steelers, who have been seeking an elite wideout, landed DK Metcalf from the Seattle Seahawks for a second-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft. They then signed him to a five-year contract worth $150 million.
The Pittsburgh Steelers made a deal this evening for WR DK Metcalf. Not only that, he’ll be receiving a new contract from them as well. Per Dianna Russini at The Athletic, Metcalf will sign an extension upon joining Pittsburgh.
As free agency nears, Seattle agreed to send DK Metcalf to Pittsburgh and Josh Allen landed a six-year, $330 million deal from the Bills with $250 million guaranteed.
