Adidas announced Wednesday that it had sold the last of its Yeezy sneakers, the lucrative footwear line created with rapper and designer Ye. The German sportswear giant framed the milestone as the closing chapter in the controversy sparked by Ye’s antisemitic comments in 2022.

Over two years ago, the sportswear brand parted ways with the controversial rapper due to his antisemitic comments.

Adidas offloaded its last pair of Yeezys just before the new year. The sportswear company announced during a press conference on Wednesday, March 5, that the final pair of sneakers designed by Kanye West were sold in December 2024.

Chief financial officer Harm Ohlmeyer revealed that the Yeezy stock has run dry during Wednesday's earnings report.

Adidas has been trying to put the Yeezy affair behind it since antisemitic rants by Kanye West forced it to end the profitable partnership in 2023.
