Oklahoma City Thunder veteran guard Alex Caruso has adjusted to his new environment as the team’s OG this season. After being traded from the Chicago Bulls for Josh Giddey, Caruso signed a four-year, $81 million extension with the Thunder. Suffice it to say he’s getting used to being the oldest guy on the NBA’s youngest team.
The NBA MVP race between OKC Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic could be among the closest ever.
One of the reasons for that has been the acquisition of Alex Caruso. Caruso landed with the Thunder via a trade with the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Josh Giddey. Caruso appeared on the "Young Man and the Three" podcast and discussed how he's the grandpa of the team, which happens to be the youngest roster in the NBA .
