18 states are in the path of a new winter storm that could bring as much as eight inches of snow and ice accumulations.
Storm warnings and watches are in some areas of Midwest and Northeast from March 1 into the start of the week.
The NWS warns of additional severe winter storms for areas of the country already dealing with snow through Friday, Feb. 27.
